Upper Frome Valley   The river Frome rises near Birdlip at three main sources near Nettleton, Brimpsfield and Climperwell. The first recognisable mill is Bakers Mill near Frampton Mansell, followed by a rich series of big mills though Chalford and Brimscombe all the way to Stroud East.
